Puttin’ up some door casing. the floor is carpet, but in 6/8 months were gonna change it to hard wood. Made my measurements, cut them both ( mistake #1), didn’t add a fudge factor (mistake #2). Now 1 is at least 1/4” short, the other almost 1/2”. If it wasn’t for the flooring change I might have got away with it. SIGH!!!!

Mark if you measured then it’s not your fault. The floor must be dropping in that spot. Just jack up the back right corner of the hosue 1/2” and the back left corner 1/4” and all will be good.
