The guy calls it a “carving tool” and sets a price, and then admits he doesn’t know what it is, and posts three of the blurriest pics possible. Any guesses?

Crazy looking thing. Not very big.

Maybe a lathe accessory.

Probably not a woodworking tool.

From what can I get from those pics, I’d guess an engraving machine or a mini cnc. If I’m right do I get a prize? :)

The little block thingy with all the “fingers” on it… looks like a meat tenderizer!

Does the shower curtain come with it?

I want it. I has everything: cast iron, moving parts, adjustments, and it plugs in. Please buy it and give it to me. I’ll make room for it, even if I have to sell my Gojaster 047 on craigslist right now today.

Kindly,

Lee

I want it, I think I can make an accurate miter slicer for may Frankensaw from it. Does it come with free
shipping? Do not have a clue. Now we are going to wonder what the hell it is, are you going to go look
at/buy it to help solve this problem? Thank you for sharing, now I will not be able to get to sleep tonight.

Sorry you’ll all have to live with the uncertainty. He wants $145 for it and I’ve got a strict limit of $3.99 when it comes to buying unidentified cr@p. I only gave the posting a look-see because the title said “carving machine” and I was interested in seeing which one, for how much. But if you absolutely can’t live without it then it’s in the tools section of the Tucson CL. I’m guessing, based on the description and the photos, that this is the type of seller with genius level smarts who would absolutely love it if you bought it as is, and sent him a money order for $500 to cash so he could mail you the extra $$ when he sends the item to you.

Dang it and it would have made such a nice addition to the wonderful mess in your shop. For that price he
should have listed manufacturer, make and model number. Guess I will just wander out to my shop and see
if can make room for the wife’s car since there is new snow on the mountain tops. Thank you for the info.
