As you may recall, I have posted off and on about my progress with my soon to become first grandson, Landon (oh, but that makes me feel old). I am proud to say that the crib is done and, although many errors were made, it came out pretty good. I do hope my daughter likes it…

Nice looking piece. love the marquetry. He’ll be sleeping in a one of a kind crib.

My first grandson, Landon, future inhabitant of the crib I made, was born today, December 15, 2008. He weighed 7lb 3oz and is 19” tall, so I think the crib should hold him. Funny thing is that he is four weeks premature. I am happy for my daughter’s sake that its over.
