Topic tags/keywords: shopsmith sanding sander disc disk

I’m kicking around the idea of building a dedicated 12” disc sander. I’ve searched here, ebay, and Shopsmith’s site and cannot find the arbor hold diameter on the Shopsmith sanding disc. Does anyone know the size?

5/8” I measured it to be sure.

A few examples of Shopsmith Mini/Shorty Sanding Stations

These are shortened to save space but if you can use it full size it can be used for other things as well. Used Shopsmiths are way cheaper than a 12 inch disk sander/belt sander combination and can be used for other things.

Ask over at the Shopsmith forum.
