I just thought I'd share some deals I found at big lots. I've noticed that things can really be hit or miss there. They seem to be experts at making you think you are getting a deal even when you may not be. That being said, I think I found some decent prices that might be worth checking out.

They had some stanley tools for sale. I'm including the amazon links so you can see what they specifically were. I'm sure some people could get better deals than the amazon prices, but remember, no shipping and these seemed like good deals to me.

I got two Stanley Bailey 3/4 inch pipe clamps for $10 each

Two 36 inch trigger clamps for $15 each

Two 12 inch trigger clamps for $10 each

Let me know if you think these are good deals. If not, maybe I'll return some of them. If so, maybe some other people can benefit and find these at their local big lots. I also snagged an 18 pack of spring clamps for $3 (most too small to be useful, but for $3, it will be good to have them in case.

I don't know the "normal" prices on the clamps. I try to shop now and then so I know my prices for when I do see a possible deal. I know clamps aren't too cheap anymore.

Don't discount those little springs clamps. They're real good for clipping up a drop clothe (for taking pics or overspray) or a tarp to something outside or even making painting hangers for smaller parts.

hhhmmm….$3 for spring clamps. One can never have too many clamps.

good to hear i didn't do too bad. Amazon's prices were competitive on some, but there was no option for free shipping. These things also weigh quite a bit. I think the strangest thing of all of this is that they are using the "Bailey" name for the pipe clamps. I thought that was just a handplane thing. Hmm…

I thought it was a good price…I picked up a couple of Fat max 12" clamps last week at the $10 per. Several 48" Bailey clamps a couple of months ago for $15 per. I'll see some interesting brand name tools stacked next to the cheap stuff. Like Rustic, there are some items where function isn't brand name specific.
