After nearly a year now of my shop being dismantled due to moving and then moving again I am finally able to set up shop and again and making wood work. You have no idea how hard it is to come on LJs day after day and look at everyone’s projects without being able to make dust of my own. I would like to start off with making some jigs and other mods for my ‘new to me’ ridgid r4511 I purchased over the down time. Other than that I’m also focused on shop furniture and organization so I can get everything back in order.

Had to sell a lot of tools over that period as we’ll so I’m hoping to get a new sander… Leaning towards the ridgid oscillating spindle/belt sander and a new router… Been looking at the dewalt 2 1/4 hp fixed/plunge on craigslist. If anyone has any other suggestions I am open to anything. Also if any has any suggestion as far as shop organization goes I would like to hear anything anyone has to say.. Right now all I have is a rickety work bench and a rolling tool cart I built last season.

Ok.. I’ll leave it at that. Basically preached this same info to the gf and didn’t get much of a response. Thought I’d try here next.

Good to see you will be back working. I’m back working from a long lay-off as well. The stress relief is nice.
