The only marking is “No. 1210” on the upper arm.
It has a manual ratchet – you lift one pawl or the other up out of engagement with the teeth.
You can get freewheel and full lock by having both up or both down. There is no spring on the jaws. They have an angled extension on the bottom, and the bottom of their cutout is like a pitched roof, but flatter than the angle on the extension, so they bear on the outermost point, which makes them want to tilt open.
