Topic tags/keywords: article news release rocker woodcraft resource

Today’s Minneapolis Star and Tribune had an article about woodworking and the emerging demographic that is embracing the craft. The article also mentioned that Rockler was going to be having a grand opening for its new Super store in Maple Wood. It is an interesting read. http://www.startribune.com/business/224958692.html

That is interesting. It’s kind of like the “gentleman woodworker” in England. I’m SORT of in the category of retiring baby-boomer, in that I am not retired, yet. But I do woodworking when I can, and have been buying materials and tools as I can, to prepare for that aspect of my retirement, which I will hopefully start before I die. I also do metal working, mainly in copper, but also some iron. I also fly model and high power rockets, but haven’t done that in years due to my work load.
