Had to wait a week to get the saw the seller was on vacation and all I ‘ve been thinking about is getting this saw home. The anticipation of getting my first cabinet saw for cheap has caused a few sleepless nites, got a 220 line strung, a space cleared and the shop is cleaned everything is set. Anybody else had this “new tool” syndrome?

Yeah Harry I smell ya, picked up my first Bandsaw over the weekend, a Grizzly G1019Z 14-1/2”, its really my first higher-end tool in the shop, and am ecstatic to fire it up and use it. I had a super busy weekend so other than getting it into the shop I haven’t gotten to turn it on and cut anything yet, the anticipation is killing me!

Its not quite on the unisaw level but I feel you, I am very excited about my “new to me” bandsaw!

I have been waiting for a lady to get back in town so I can buy a DW716 miter saw NIB for $200. I picked up a DW723 for $75 NOB and have to look at it sitting there without a saw till the lady gets back. Hopefully tomorrow. I feel your pain

I can’t remember a time in the last 15 years when I didn’t have that feeling. It never gets old!
