The local classifieds has a JET JWBS-14CS for $500. The owner’s son said it was at least 5-6 years old. It it is from when they painted their tools blue however long ago that was. It has a fence, miter gauge, riser block, and aftermarket roller bearings for guides. It has a new factory motor and looks to be in good shape. Assuming it is in good shape, is it worth $500? I was thinking that this might be a little high considering saws like the grizzly ultimate are available for this price and new ones are $650, but being older maybe it’s built a touch better??. Thanks for the advice.

Way over priced for a 5 year old saw. New one is about $650. Not much has changed for this style saw over the last 10 years. Better accessories but the castings are basically the same.

If it’s blue, it’s way more than 5-6 years old.

Somebody’s dreamin’. $300.00? Might consider it at that price depending on condition.

Wow, $500? I have a Jet 14” that is about 4-5 yrs old. Jet white and payed about $500 new out of the crate. And they painted it blue…...hummmmm. They are a good saw, but even with the after market stuff that is way too much. And I would get details of the after market stuff too, some of it is junk for that saw and not worth much, even before I gave them an offer.
