There is a new version of Sketchup available for free download. I played, ahem, worked with it for a little while this morning, and I like it. It has a lot of new features that I dont understand, but for what I do, this is very sweet.

Has anyone played, ahem, tested it yet?

Slacker home \| projects \| blog 178 posts in 1897 days #1 posted 1669 days ago	I paid good money for Alibre and I never used it, so I am holding back until I am absolutely certain that I am going to use Sketchup for professional reasons. right now I am an environmental chemist with an intense desire to move back home to Puerto Rico, and do some woodworking for a living. I dont need much to keep me happy. When I get to that point, Sketchup Pro will definitely be the call. -- Adapt, improvise, overcome

With something like this, I can have templates for built-in furniture that you can show a client PDQ. Do you need to have Pro to build these dynamic components? -- Adapt, improvise, overcome
