I bought the Penn State 60 degree live center ( ) two years ago … no complaints at all. It performs like a champ and is on sale for $15.95.

Got mine from Little Machine Shop, fast shipping and reasonable prices, I highly recommend them.

If you turn a variety of things and want a high quality system with lots of capability, look at the Nova Live Center System
Note it has three bearings.
