I just scored 60bdft of 5/4 honduras mahogany for $250 !!!, Now i need something to build, any ideas?

60 bdft: You can build quite a bit. Whatever it is, have fun and show some pictures. If you don’t want to make anything, I’ll offer to help Lew: He only live a few towns away.

What size are the boards? I am workig on some ranch molding that requires mohogany.

Al they range from 4” to 10” wide and all 16 boards are at least 8’

Are you sure it is Honduras mahogany, My wood supplier told Me that it is endangered now and most is illeagaly harvested so they cannot get it.
Also it would be $20 + a BF.
They do have African $7, Phillipine $5.50.
If it is Honduras mahogany you did SCORE, and I would find a special project for it.

Definately the material for an 18th Century Americam piece of furniture. At least that’s what I do with my Mahogany.

Hi bama i got lucky and found it on my local craig list., needless to say i bought all she had!!!, sorry i wish i had a supplier that could get it for $5 a bf all the time !
