This is more of an fyi than anything else. I purchased this planer full model #351.217590 about 5 years ago. The main reason for choosing the craftsman over the 13” dewalt was the price of replacement blades. Well fast forward to today and this planer is no longer in production and knives are listed on craftsman website at $69 not sure if that is a set of 3 or 1 don’t really matter. I was in Menards today and found a set of blades for a Masterforce 240-0045 on sell for $23. Brought them home and they are an exact match. The part number for the knives is 252-0045 I think at that price I am going back to buy another set. Just thought I would post this and hopefully help someone else out.

I realize this is a very old post, but I wanted to thank you for posting it. I’ve been looking for replacement blades for that same planer all morning and was about to give up when I saw your post. Thank you.
