Just need to add a few nuts to the struts and install the counterweight system, but the wood part is essentially complete. This was done in 90/50 cherry and trimmed with some leftover walnut I have from our kitchen remodel. I hope to get out to buy the hardware for the counterweight system today or tomorrow. This might be totally complete by the weekend, in which case I’m going to mount a canvas on it and start painting something…. anything… I just want to get paint on a canvas again.

Oh, and my wife might be right…. I’ll probably cry when I get paint on this, but hey…. that’s part of its job. :)

I hope you are as good at painting as you are at woodworking.
