I don’t see anyway to do it, but I think it would be VERY USEFUL if there were a way to organize my favorites, especially projects. I have more than 10 pages of favorites, not organized, which takes a while to go back and look through. It would be great to be able to file these away into “Benches”, “Jigs” or “Cutting Boards” folders for example. Anyone else discovered how to do this or feel like it would be a useful feature?

Lacking an LJs modification, I would suggest labeling each favorite with the first word in all caps: BENCHES, JIGS, CUTTING BOARDS, etc. Then add your explanation after each “title”. I know it is not a perfect solution, but it might help somewhat.

That’s a good start to help find them easy, Mike. How are they arranged now, by date of favoriting or date when they were posted?
Just a thought, but maybe you could copy the link and paste it to an e mail folder with the topic words for the folder title. it is a little cumbersome, but if there is not good way to do it here, you can take them out of here and do it. would take you a while with 10 pages!!

Randy – What you are really seeking is a database that can be assembled with the software,” File Maker Pro.”. This software was initially developed for Apple products and operating system but is now available for Windows PC applications also. It is relatively friendly to use and could be what you are looking for but would take a little effort to get started.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. Ideally this would be a solution implimented within the LJ site so that they could be organized by folder in the site. In the example below, Projects would have sub-folders we could create categories in and organize content.

Easy way:
In your browser bookmarks create a folder called LJ’s favorites.
Put each one of your LJ’s favorites into that folder, either in sub folders or in some sort of order you understand.

Thanks Debbie. I think it will really catch on once implemented.
