Topic tags/keywords: band saw sterling packard wbs-14

I could use a little advice here. I found a Sterling Packard bandsaw WBS-14 on Craigslist for a killer price. The saw is in pristine condition and like new. Problem is that I cannot find any information on the manufacturer. Does anyone know anything about this company or machine?

Any information would be appreciated

Seller may be taking the brand name off the motor.

“WBS-14” stands for “woodcutting band saw 14 inch”
and is a model name used by Jet and other importers.

That’s what I figured. The strange thing is that this company was based out of Glendale, CA. Its a Packard Precision band saw by Sterling Packard. It on a plate on the casing. I just can’t find anything about them online.
