I started another end table on Wed. I glued up the top with 7-25×3.5” Cherry. Yesterday it came outa the clamps for planing. I used the #4 to knock down the seams. The #7 iron has a bit of a camber to it and the 6 is straight and sq. ( I got the 6 first and squared the blade) so I’ll have to swap the 2. All three worked like a charm. Narrow mouth opening. Super sharp blade. What a pleasure. If you haven’t see Stumppy Nubbs video on the little sharpening jig, ya gotta see it. I had one, tried it and didn’t think much of it. Then I watched the video and tried again. Pretty easy to use and it works like a hot damn. Thanks a bunch Stumpy for your post.
