I’ve got an older sawstop with the original black, screw down insert. I’d like to replace it with an Infinity ZCI. I read somewhere that it requires you to move the hold down used on the newer sawstop stock insert to the Infinity since they don’t supply a hold down. I looked at the Infinity manual and it is very unclear what actually holds down the front of the insert (other than gravity). Any clarification would be appreciated. If I need the sawstop hold down, I’ll have to buy one first.

The new inserts. Work well without any hold down mechanism in the front.
