Download the pics to your computer, then use the “img” button to upload them to your post.

I will look forward to seeing them :)

The issue you’re having is because the URL, or web address, of the images is not the same as the email you’re copying them from. They would most likely be stored somewhere on a cloud server.

Depending on the email service you use, you might be able to right click (command click if you’re using a mac) the image and select “Copy Image URL” or similar option. Some mail servers block you from being able to do this, so it may or may not work. Here is one I have from an email at my yahoo account….

The URL to the image is http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51k0mrN%2BnLL._SX180_.jpg

This reply has little to do with the topic, but there’s an odd conundrum getting started posting, making blog entries etc.

I had to start a new account after having one for a few years when I attempted to actually make my first blog entry.

One has to get one’s first blog entry approved. When you are in the “waiting for approval” stage, you can’t do much.

Unfortunately, after a few weeks of waiting, it turns out my first blog post was “lost” somehow, never approved and apparently never approvable so that account is gone.

MsDebbie generously offered to watch for my first blog post with a new account so it wouldn’t get lost, providing I notify her that I posted it.

Well, you can’t send private emails until you make at least 6 posts, which I had done with the old account, but obviously not with this new account.

So, to tell her I have made my first blog post, I have to make 6 (5 after this one, I hope) posts.

Sigh.

So, I started a new one and made a new

Oh, and post script: you can’t start new topics either if you are in “waiting for approval” limbo. And so thus.

oh dear … difficult went “times 2” ( times 1 1/2—copying your tag line)

You are up and running now.. FINALLY >> HAPPY LUMBERJOCK’ING!

And just so people know: Martin, the creator of LumberJocks, moved on to other things recently and that left us in limbo. But Escalate Media has put some other tech people “on the job” and things should be running smoothly again in no time at all.

Thanks to everyone for their patience during this transition time.

Okay! I assumed that since he’s been on here for 77 Days and has been quite active Posting elsewhere, He was already “Fully Functional”.

That Perhaps he had just Forgotten about this Post

Also the Off Topic Comments by Mike who has only been on here for 13 Hours trying to get Activated might have confused the issue.

Thank You Ms Debbie.

5 Days. No 28 Items MsDebbie.

He Started this one 84 Days ago Been on here once 83 Days ago. Started at least 6 New Posts since this one (One or Two that I Replied On, Same as this though, No Reply.) Commented on Numerous others. He’s On site all the time.

I think it would be safe to assume He’s NOT watching this one.

I’ll Assume it’s DEAD. It’s Off My Watch List and No More Replies On Any From Me

LJ’s

I am very very sorry about this post. I DID forget about this post. I got the help I needed to place pictures in the post from Patron but it was late and I ddn’t post them.

I worked on something else and when I went to find the email I saved, it was gone. A buddy of mine, not in LJs sent me 28 beautiful nature shots from around the world, amazing photo I wanted to share with all.

Here in Florida we have Brighthouse for our server and RoadRunner for our email. I had major problems for about 2 weeks, and one of those problems was my saved email account. It just disappeared about 30 of them I saved but didn’t get around to taking them out of email and putting them in my document files.

So, number 1 – I am so sorry for forgetting about this post and number 2 – for loosing those 28 beautiful pictures. I emailed my buddy to see if he could send them to me again but he deleted his.

I will try to make it up to everyone who has been waiting, I promise I will get something up here that you will be very satisfied with.

Not necessary Mark. If the 28 “Pictures” are gone, they’re gone.

Just consider this Post Closed. It’s off My “Watch List”.
