Haven’t had a good impression of (the ‘ruling mass of comedic [edited by management]’) on this site.

I’m not the only one.

The usual…. every site has cliques and a group of guys that I always group into that category of guys I should never hang out with over drinks as someone would get a beating. Many are comedic, some are just sad, but they are all easy enough to skim over and pay no attention to if one so desires.

I try to ignore boorish behavior and not engage them.

sadly it is a small snapshot of life in this world. what is as frustrating is the entourage or those afraid to say something after the “leader” has spoken.
I am glad you decided to speak up. Thank you from many of the rest of us.

If you think they are bad here, try getting past them over at Wood on-line’s bunch, since the Headman of the Cliique is also the site’s admin/mod guy…..

Thanks for the comments.
Now, I don’t feel so critical…
I was hoping I wasn’t the only person feeling this way.

I only wanted to see if any others shared this “minor” issue.
It is minor, because the main objective, for me is to learn…learn from others, woodworking.

Can’t say I agree with you. I came on here new and was greeted and made to feel very welcome. I get positive feedback on my posts and projects. When I ask for help on a wood skill I get several options that I don’t have access to where I live. I get tutorials for new skills to learn and new project ideas. I have even been invited to a members home for a week-end of woodworking. What more could I ask for. As for a clique, all I see is a group of men and women with a like interest, improving their woodworking skills!

Whatever the site, it’s populated with people…..wherever there’s people, there’s “people” problems. With that as a given, I’ve found this site to be friendlier than most.

Sawdust, are you trying to say there are a few cliques and diques on this site?

Cliques are like spoiled children. If you ignore them long enough, they finally grow up! :’)
