Topic tags/keywords: barter jointer planer bandsaw workshop space shop space

I am looking to exchange the use of my woodworking machinery for access to your shop space.

I have been a woodworker and furniture builder for 15 years. I own quite a bit of machinery and tools but I don’t currently have a workshop.

I have a 12” jointer, a 20” planer, a 17”/5hp bandsaw, a 6” x 42” edgesander, a 2hp dust collector, and a schwack of woodworking clamps, hand and power tools. All the machinery is 220v, single phase.

I would like to make a cash-free exchange; You would get the use of my tools in your shop, and I would get access to the shop, space to work, and a safe place to have my equipment. Together we can make an inspiring space.

I live and work in the west end of Toronto and I am looking for space on this side of the city but, for the right situation, I would consider driving. The space needs to be heated, have ground floor access or a freight elevator, and sufficient electric.

If you are interested, let’s meet and talk about the details.

Cheers.
Rob

Sounds like an interesting proposition, hope you get the space you need.
