Topic tags/keywords: hand power free saw

I got a tip on a guy who was looking to get rid of some tools and if nobody took them he was just going to throw them away. I headed over there last night and took just about everything that wasn’t trash. Went through it all when I got it home and there was some Semi-Decent stuff for a beginner with no tool income. Mostly it was House hold tools… A few screwdrivers and a hammer a bunch of broken hacksaws (and one good one) and a couple of handle less coping saws, one is really old and one is newer I’m going to try to repair those with a bunch of blades for both.

There was also an old wooden level which I think is still level and a plastic and steel Made in USA Combination Square.. Which is more square then my cheapo from harbor freight.. so that’s a win.

I also found this old Handy Andy Tool Box which could be worth some money… or just sentimental value to someone. It looks like a kids first tool box type thing. Let me know if you know anything about those please. And finally there was this old Hand saw but it doesn’t have any designation on the handle was hoping to get more information about it.

There were a few power tools but this isnt thre right forum for that.. (ill just list em real quick)
1989 Craftsmen Power Drill
Old Craftsmen 5” bench Grinder
1/4 sheet sander
1hp belt sander with lots of belts.

I just wandered through a ‘antique’ store ( hey it was hot and they had air-conditioning :-) and was amazed at the variety of things from my younger days that they considered antique! The kid carpentry kit would have fit right in to much of their other inventory.
