Anyone out there have this machine, any problems?
Picked one up today, my old 6×36 jointer was past the best before date!
Ran a few wood scraps( oak and cedar ) over it and all I can say is WOW!!
Thinking about the General 13” Helical Planer w Helical Cutter Head, anyone have one?!

I’ve heard good things about Laguna machines in general, and almost bought one of their table saws about ten years ago. At the time they were having their machines made in Bulgaria, not China. Having been to Bulgaria, that impressed me.
What was your old 6X36 jointer ? Hope you didn’t scrap it. I’ve used machines that were older than me and joy to work with. Like a dowel making machine built in 1917, gang rip saw from the 1940s (The Beast), band saw that was even older, a 30’’ planner that in it’s youth had run not on an electric motor but an overhead drive connected by a belt.
