Nice of you to think of your Lumberjock buds first. I’m sure there will be some interest. We have lots of CA jocks, not sure on their proximity to the bay area.. But look throught the most active jocks in CA and you can message some of them directly, if they don’ want it they may know someone that does. -- Rob (A) Waxahachie,TX |

Holy cats! This sounds awesome, but I don’t have the space. I’m in Petaluma and recently scored some 1½” thick Maple butcher block off of Craigslist for counters, need another stretch, but it’s not a 10’ long section and, like you, I’d rather leave it for someone who’s got room for the whole thing. However, just out of curiosity… how much does it weigh? I do have roof racks… -- Dan Lyke, Petaluma California, http://www.flutterby.net/User:DanLyke |

Hello All, In the interest of full disclosure, I want to restate that I purchased the top from a retiring butcher. He used the top for about twenty years. That means that one side of the table has worn areas from where millions of porkchops were cut. The other side, however, is completely virgin. It could use a quick resurfacing job, but it’s otherwise ready to work. I will do my best to post some pictures as soon as possible so that you all can have a better sense of this beast. |

Hello All, Here is an overall shot of the top. We are looking at the bottom side of the top that was never used. The two U-shaped marks that you see are where the metal legs were attached. It’s a good indication of what the wood looks like under the grime: |
