Topic tags/keywords: skil cordless screwdriver never used unopened rare vintage 1980s

http://tinyurl.com/k9re2kc

Seller says he bought this item new (sometime in 1985) but then for some reason, he never used it, meaning he never even opened it. Now, he’s asking $29.99 or best offer for this 28/29-year-old tool with its original packaging.

Date code: 7RLZ1 (December 1984)

Again, folks, this is not something we’ll ever see everyday these days…

Ah, the good ole days when batteries took about 36 hours to charge, about 2.5 hours to die (whether you used it or not) and the run time got shorter after every charge.

Some things are actually better than they were back in the day and batteries are definitely one of those some things

Other than the glaringly obvious it is still a neat find..

Send me the $30.00. I’ll send you a message of condolence.
Some of this stuff is just too far from reality.

Not worth a nickle even in its original package. I owned two similar drivers and the torque would NEVER perform adequately even with proper pilot holes. Only an historian and keeper of the obsolete should bite.
