Good day

If you remember, I “Came back from Japan” with new Hitachi M8V2.

Yesterday and today (in total 16 hours), I was working on new router table. it’s similar to the old one but bigger (31½” x 20”) and with some ideas that were on my “wish list” for long time…

It’s not the normal “Cabinet” router table, I’m using the same workbench of the old router table

As base, I used “counter top” (1-3/16” thick), and on top, “Floor panels” (5/16”).

I did not make the fence yet (the main fence will go length wise) but that’s a small job (I’m looking for some Aluminum profile)

The “roller unit” is working on the same principal like the “Table saw tenon jig” and if it will give you an idea for “Rolling table saw sled”....I’m not responsible….(but I’m thinking about it).

Regards
niki

I am glad there are people like you out there! Without people getting tired of the status quo and trying something new, we would still be using handsaws and horsehide glue!

BRAVO! All the work you did makes me glad I just updated my old table-top router table to a custom cabinet with a Rockler router table top. I just ordered a new Incra positioning jig with fence and RA jig. Without inventors like you the Incra would NEVER be realized.

I am not only amazed at your ingenuity, but the cleanliness of your “shop.” You should build a carport on the driveway and keep the car outside thereby saving the garage for it TRUE purpose—a wood shop!

Keep it up, Niki!
God Bless,
Hawg

Really nice, Niki. I always enjoy your “inventions.” I was betting myself how long it would take before a “triangle” was introduced into this entry. Thanks, a really good idea and very well executed, as always!

Thank you so much

Hawg
If I will make carport on the drive way…the shop would not be so clean….:)

You doing an outstanding job here. Helping the “woodworking challenged” types such as myself. This helps bunches, thanks niki!!!

Mind blowing creation. Thanks for sharing. This roller based fence, I think, would also be nice for a Home Built table saw.
