Topic tags/keywords: walnut finishing bathroom counter top

I am going to begin edge gluing Walnut boards to make a bathroom vanity counter top that will be just shy of 9’ long. The bathroom sink will be set into the counter.

Here are my questions:

1. Glue; Would you recommend Titebond II or Titebond III or another glue for the glue ups?

2. Finishing; I read this forum on finishing (http://lumberjocks.com/topics/33759); wondering if you have any other insight?

Thanks!

Titebond 2 or 3 will work, the three is more water resistant.

for 2. links broken, I’d think epoxy though for a vanity top.
