Best Router For Big Dados & Tenons on Exotic Hardwoods?

I making a router jig for cutting big fat dados and tenons for natural edge furniture.

Wondering if anyone has any advice on what router will be powerful enough to constantly tackle Ebony, Wenge, Padauk. I will probably use it hard for at least 2 or 3 days a week.

Please share if you thoughts on the subject with me.

A 15 amp router is the biggest you’ll find. .... Milwaukee 5625, PC7518, Bosch 1619, DW625, Makita 3612, Hitachi M12V2, Triton, Freud FT3000.

The Porter Cable 3-1/4 HP routers seem to be the standard from what I’ve seen. The 7518 seems to be the most referenced router for bigger work.

My 2.5hp PC can do it fine. You want a nice heavy table though because if it starts vibrating you’re a goner. I use the PC table and clamp it to my bench, seems to work good. Really for routers, PC is the best without getting really expensive.
