There’s a retired gentleman who lives not far from me listing a 14” Rockwell bandsaw, drill press and lathe. $600 for all three or 250 each. The one that I’m really interested in is the band saw but I don’t know a whole lot about this particular saw. Do y’all think it’s worth the 250? I’d probably just buy all three if I weren’t on a pretty tight hobby budget. I’m including the link to the CL ad below. I’d appreciate hearing what y’all think.

That looks like 3 good machines. I would gladly pay $600.00 for the 3.

Bad deal.

Those lathes are problematical and that’s a 10” band saw, not a 14”.

Worth maybe $300 for the lot.

I agree with Loren…that’s not a 14” bandsaw nor do I think the deal is all that remarkable. I wouldn’t offer/pay more than $100 for the bandsaw…any more and I’d recommend saving for a new saw.

I agree with Loren. I don’t have machines memorized but the band saw certainly looks smaller than a 14” model. When I first began woodworking I had 2 10” handsaws, both were junk. Of course Rockwell is better than what I had. I personally would not want less than a 14”.

.just like Loren and others said $125 for the Drill press,$100 for the Bandsaw.and $40-$50 for the lathe ,overall I would not even entertain the idea of buying the BS and lathe, the DP is a may be.

10” band saws can be PITA. I could tell that the band saw in the ad is smaller than 14” saws. Better keep on looking.
