Friends of my wife and I own a wine bar that just celebrated its 1 year anniversary. While there we noticed that the finish on the bar was wearing off in several spots. When I talked with the owner it turns out that the contractor they hired only put one coat of poly on their gorgeous mahogany bar. I offered to help refinish the bar, but they can’t really close down for more than 2 days AND they don’t want epoxy. I was thinking of doing a 1 coat floor polyurethane. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks

My thought would be to put one coat on it per night for as many as 4 or 5 in a row.
