Three more Stanley planes ready to put back to work. Any one of these will fit in a medium USPS flat rate box, so shipping will be $12.35.
[SOLD] First is a very nice Bailey No.3 type 18. This thing was covered in crud, wood chips, saw dust, etc. when I got it. But it cleaned up to a very nice, solid plane. The sole and sides still have some light staining and the knob and tote have some chips in the finish. That is all I could find wrong with this plane.
This is a Bailey No.5 type 17. It has the typical heavy, thick base casting from the WWII production years. The knob and tote appear to have been re-finished. It also looks like a repair has been made to restore the horn on the tote. This one just needed a little dust removed, it is ready to go, or you can clean it up a bit to make it nice and shiny.
Last is this Defiance jack plane. This is the first ‘Defiance by Stanley’ plane that I have had an opportunity to hold. This is another one that was in pretty good condition when I found it and only required a little clean up and sharpening of the iron. There is some shallow pitting on the sole, but really of no consequence.
If you need any additional pictures, pm me with an email address to send them.
I have quite a few more planes available. If you are looking for something drop me a PM and I’ll see if I have it.
