I had a good day in the mail Today!!! A Very good friend and fellow Wood Worker and a fellow Lumberjocks Member named Jim Jakosh, Who I must mention is an Outstanding Wood Worker and Craftsman but even better than that he is an AWESOME PERSON!! Well Jim and I have been talking lately and he has given me some Corian before to use in some of my projects, He knows I do not use any real big time tools and most of my work is done by hand. He not only sent me some more Corian to use to make Rings(I have made one out of Corian so far) He sent me some larger pieces to try to make something else with it. He cuts it so I can pretty much use it as is and I won’t have to worry about trying to cut it, with this load of Corian he also sent me some pieces of Pistachio Wood! I have never used it before but it is so Beautiful!
I hope to be able to do his gift to me justice! Jim is such a Wonderful Person. He not only gets the corian he even cuts it to the size I need it, all from the Goodness of his Heart! He simply says he is paying it forward and that what I make from it is payment enough! How About That!!! He will not even let me pay him for the shipping cost. LumberJock Members are simply the best!!

This is not woodworking but I just had to share this!
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share what I got today in the mail, A while back I was asked to make a ring for a friend who has a Daughter that lives in Mississippi, This Wonderful person sent me some of the homemade soap she makes, WOW Do the smell Nice. She sent me some Pine-Tar and Tea-Tree soap( I like that one)and she sent some called Blueberry Crumble( My Daughter Loves That one, She also sent some Rosewood and Musk, All made by hand the old fashion way, she did send a small sample of some called Goat milk and Carrot! They smell awesome, Everyone should Check out her page@ Her name is Mary and she is super nice, she also has a new website@ Thank You, Mary for the Wonderful bars of soap!

There are a lot of generous people here on LJ who live the “pay it forward” philosophy.

I can’t wait to see the projects that you are going to make. It is very nice of Jim to pay it forward. You ever need some native wood from my area let me know.
