Topic tags/keywords: question bandsaw

Does anyone know of a machine shop near Garland, Texas that has successfully re-welded bandsaw blades for you? My broken blade collection is almost as big as my useable blade collection.

I solder up my own using a Sure-Splice kit and a propane
torch. It only takes a few minutes per blade.

Most any metal shop should be able to weld band saw
blades. It’s a common operation as metal wrecks them
quick and inside cuts need to be done often enough.
