Topic tags/keywords: cedar cherry walnut maple cocobolo lathe turning traditional

Some of these I started over a year ago and have finally got back out in the shop to finish them and do some more.

Here is the first one

It is a Urn I started making for my Father in Law that passed away in October and I was just to sick to finish. It is made from wood from our 100 acres. Black walnut, Red Ceder, and Cherry on top. 4×9 1/4

The next one is what I call a suspended Vase. I went to a hands on with John Beavers in Janurary and never got to finish it and now I did. The body is burl Cherry, the bottom and bottom of the finial is regualr cherry, the legs are Suger Maple, and the finial is Cocobolo

The next little box is 2 1/2 square and is made from Redwood burl with another picture of them apart.

The next one is also 2 1/2 square Redwood burl but a bowl.

Please enjoy them and I hope to post what I have done in the last week in the next few days.

All the Best
Arlin
