Here are a few more bench planes that have been ‘rescued’ from inclusion in the scrap heap. All of these planes have been dis-assembled, cleaned, lubricated, sharpened and re-assembled into good, working tools.

First we have these four Goodall smoothers. They are about the same size as Stanley No.4 planes and have a 2” wide cutting iron. Check out the unique depth adjuster. There is very little backlash in this adjuster.

Asking $30/each + shipping

Here we have a Freud(who knew?) and a Mohawk-Shelburne(by Millers Falls). These are both No.4 size. The Freud plane(SOLD) has seen very little use from what I can tell.

Asking $25/each + shipping

More pictures are available on request.
I also have other planes available for sale. What are you looking for?

Any one (or possibly two) of these planes will fit in a medium flat rate box for $12.35.
Or they can be picked up at my shop in Willow Spring, NC if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Ok let’s try this price reduction and see what happens. :-)

$25/ea for the Goodall
$20/ea for the Freud or Mohawk-Shelburne

It would be hard to find a decent smoother for that price.

I’ll get some pictures taken later today. It’s slim pickings right now on block planes. I’m going to look at a small collection within the next day or two and there should be at least a couple more in there.

Is there any particular block plane you are looking for?
