MrWoody that is frightenly to close to a possibility, I don’t know if I really want to tear down our kitchen especially after the horrible two year bathroom reno at our last house 8-(.

If she does get me something else with the cheque I hope it isn’t Lee Valley underwear…I know they would be of great quality but most of their stuff has rosewood handles with brass inlays and that just sounds uncomfortable (never mind the brass getting very chilly in these parts at this time of year) LOL!

Hmmm if its a choice between a cheque and the pick and shovel… that’s a tough one; one buys tools the other are tools…but tools that would bite into woodworking time…. I guess its not a tough one after all :-)

I’ll have to check with my daughter as to how many sleeps ‘til Christmas ;-)

I think you need to tell her that you dont mind waiting until Christmas, but you need a nice new plane to build her present…and some money to buy the wood.
