Well another day has gone bye with lots of progress. The mason almost finished. The windows and man doors were installed, and the siding applicator had a good start. The man doors I picked are a commercial grade steel door which is insulated, the thresholds are not yet installed, these doors seem to be a bit more bullet proof, but do require painting.

My wife and daughter keep me updated daily with photos of the construction progress, I only see home for five days a month, and bye the time I get home on Friday the outside of the shop should be complete and all I will have to do is the landscaping, and oh yeah write a few cheques.

That looks good welcon. What type of metal paneling are you using? We are doing a lot of horizontal metal paneling like that in our architectural projects and it is very appealing.

I hope you have planned to install a small fridge for some malt beverages to ONLY be consumed at the end of the shop day. :)

I hope you included a small room for sleeping, cooking and toilet. With a shop like that, I wouldn’t want to leave it.

Have your say...
