Topic tags/keywords: humor jig walnut joining

Very happy to find some great boards to do this 12’ by 2’ solid walnut glue up. Don’t do this so often and though y’all might like some pics. Note the 6’ pony clamp in the left foreground for scale.

I guess to give all the details, 5 boards, glued in two sections, planed, final (in pic) is the two 12” boards in cauls and clamps.

Wow! Better you than me! With the mess my shop is in right now I doubt I could do a 4’ glueup.

Maroon After all milling I came out at 13/16”. This is actually going to be a Floating Counter Top. It will have a 3 1/4” face and will stand 22 3/4” by 11’ 6’’ as an entertainment “CT” in a modern living room. (yes… there is some steel involved.. and that’s all I am saying.
