I have almost no source’s for hardwood close to me but an abundance of Syp 1x. I thought i could Lam together several pieces and cut on the band saw the profile. Any Ideas? I have the Screw and flange Hardware from Rockler.

Sure! I don’t see why not. SYP is very strong and it should work for that purpose. I’d laminate three or four of the pieces together depending on if it’s full 4/4 or 3/4 thick wood.

Ya, make it 2” thick or so. Should be fine.
