Hi all, so I have 2 jointers lined up on Kijiji both for $250, the first is a Rigid(JP06101) 6 1/8” Floor standing jointer and the other a Jet(jjp-8bt) 8” bench top Jointer/planer combo. I know the fact the rigid is floor standing is almost a sure win, however I am drawn to the Jet model as I get the planer to. Have you had experiences with either? Which would you chose?
Thanks all,

I’m in the process of buying a new used jointer and I am getting a floor standing one for the size of the table. I think you need to choose how big of a table you need. I think that combo is only like 36”. If you don’t intend to joint long boards and don’t already have a planer, then get the combo.
