I was at a yard sale and bought 8 each 5” x 24” F-clamps and 4 of these… got ‘em all for $40. They seem to be no-name generic clamps.

They are 8” long. The little side clamp has clearance for 1/2” material.
I can not think of a use for these except as some sort of clamp on leveling thingy, but that doesn’t really seem right!
Any ideas on how to use them?

The way that little side clamp is mounted seems to be backward… The way it sits, you’d be clamping away from your project. Can it be turned around?

Put them on your F clamp to hold the panel or piece flat.

Absolutely indispensable when gluing wide and thick boards with heavy clamps. I have a selection of Wetzler heavy clamps and about a dozen of the Wetzler ‘Side Clamps’.

TobyC, rustfever,Dallas Yep, I can see that, thanks for the picture, too! Use it for holding edge pieces on the front of something, too – like edge banding. I can think of other uses now that I can see them used in conjunction with the F Clamps. cool.

Well as they say… A picture is worth a thousand words! “I see, I see” said the blind man.

NOW I see how they’re used and they look like they’re as handy as a pocket on a shirt!
