I’m looking for a friend in San Diego that has a decent bandsaw. I have some pretty lumber that I’d like to resaw, perhaps even make a piece or two of veneer. I’d be happy to share a little of the excess. I have two pieces of zebra, four of padauk and 6 of curly maple. All of which are too wide for my bandsaw. Not to mention, mine isn’t good enough to cut veneer or 1/8 thicknesses at all. It’d help if this person also had a drum sander. Let me know! Thanks. Semper Fi.

Check with Dan at the shop. There is a master guns that works in one of the G shops. He came in about a year ago and was saying something how he had just gotten a nice bandsaw.

I talked to him. I didn’t ask him for further contacts. He said his wasn’t fancy enough to do it. I’ll just use mine and lose a bit of wood in the planer. I’ll end up losing 3/8” of each board finishing the ugly resawed side. Can you past tense a made up word?
