I’m looking for a set of plans for a Chess Set that appeared in Today’s Woodworker Issue 48, which I believe is now out of print. If anyone has a .pdf copy of the plans they’d like to share I would appreciate it. Thanks.

You might not need the plans – it’s a square chopping board project on top of a box with a drawer. With some routering detail and hand-rubbed oil-based finish no less. Building it to your design and wood choices is always more rewarding, IMO. Maybe buy the desired chess pieces first to determine overall size, unless you want to lathe those yourself.
