OK guys, I have a problem with my JessEm Rout-R-Lift. I was cutting the rails for some raised panel cabinet doors and after got the bit to the right height, on the third door I noticed the rail did not match. I readjusted the bit and again after a few rails the bit height changed again. After checking the lift, I noticed when I would change the bit height, the cranking lever would slowly move a little and then stop. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so what can I do to fix it.
I guess I could lock down the lift and adjust the bit height the old way.

IIRC, there’s a way to tighten something to eliminate backlash, which is the cause of the problem you’re having.
