With the links in place to allow anyone tagging their entries properly, the contest pages can automatically update when a new entry is added… this works great keeping things together… As with the shop video challenge… http://lumberjocks.com/blogs/tag/challenge02 I for one would love to have one convenient place to check out the LJ created videos when I have the time, without digging through various blog entries. I usually have limited time for online video watching, and this would really be a plus. (even a tab at the top, Home, projects, blogs, vlogs (videos, or LJTV Baby!), forums…. etc… would be fantastic. -- I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it. - Van Gogh -- http://blanchardcreative.etsy.com -- http://snbcreative.wordpress.com/ |

I spoke with Martin about this and he thought that if we add the – VIDEO tag as well as adding that to the title of the blog, it would make things easier. I’ve been doing this, but I neglected to speak with the community about developing a standard. Honestly, as much as I love the videos that everyone is doing now and I hope they increase in numbers, there were only a couple of guys doing them regularly when we had the discussion. Tools #3: Incra Mitre Express / Incra 1000SE Mitre Gauge – VIDEO Is the nomenclature that I’ve been using. I’m happy to change that if the group and/or Martin decides on something else. I suspect, as he already has done this for the contest entries, blogs, and the upcoming contest.. “click to see all entries tagged…” It should be pretty easyto set up. Then we just need to add the “video” tag to the tags below… sounds like you’d already be covered. Personally I’d like to see all these in one collected place (in addtion to their place in the blogs) so we could scroll through the episodes in order, and not worry about missing any. -- I am always doing what I cannot do yet, in order to learn how to do it. - Van Gogh -- http://blanchardcreative.etsy.com -- http://snbcreative.wordpress.com/ |

What I envisioned is up at the top with the Home Projects Blogs Forum Video Tags Jocks….etc…or LJTV with Weekly/Monthly hosts of LJocks…just a thought…however, not my site, just my second home. Whatever Martin decides is cool. -- You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. (Plato) |

I bet he has it almost ready. That’s how it seems to work—we post an idea and he has it up and running pretty quickly -- ~ Debbie, Canada (http://www.execulink.com/~yohan) |

you’re funny folks. now I feel like a miracle working machine LOL you got me thinking about this.. I have plans for introducing much more sofisticated video section and features but it doesn’t seem possible in the very near future. So I think your idea may work as the temporary solution!
