I am building a crib for my first grandson, Landon. As part of the design, I always wanted to include some inlays on the end panels. Here is the original design…

I just finished them, and although they have mistakes a plenty, still in all, they came out pretty good for a first try. I hope Landon likes them…

These look pretty good and add a lot of unique detail to the crib. It will be nice to see the finished project.

Looks good from here. What is the wood? Looks like maple for the main and walnut for the darker stuff.
