Hi folks,

I was wondering if anyone had any favorite woodworking/wood/tree related iPhone apps they’d recommend?

The only one I use frequently is the “Tapeulator”. Ive also got the wood whisperer’s podcast on there but listen to it only once in a while. I like youtube the most on my iphone for taking with me into the shop.

There’s a bubble level app that i’ve use a couple of times. I’m sure it’s easy to search for. Also I found a boardfoot calculator, but to be honest, I never use it.

Woodworkerrcalc. (I wrote it.)

It does fraction calculations and allows you to set the precision. It also tracks round off errors through a calculation. For example, when laying out spindles, you may calculate the spacing to 1/32 but the round off can accumulate so that you gt uneven spacing. Woodworker all will show the error so you can correct for it.

I downloaded the Dewalt calculator app for free. It has many features, but I use it primarily as an inches/fractions calculator.
