Topic tags/keywords: too legit

Considering I just used my wife’s measuring cup to measure denatured alcohol, and a baby bottle to measure shellac flakes, am I too legit to quit?

P.S. baby bottles are marvelous for measuring volume by the ounce.

HA that is great.

I once needed some rubber backed material for a project. I took the bathroom rug, cut off what I needed and dumped the rest in the neighbors garbage, so she would not find the evidence. I nearly caved as she tore the house and laundry room to pieces looking for that rug; of course it was NEVER FOUND!

What ever it takes that is graduated. I have a measuring cup form the house for measuring 2.5 oz. of synthetic 2 cycle oil for the chain saw and weed whacker! I don’t know nothing!!

That rug is like Jimmy Hoffa! Maybe the FBI will be digging up Detroit for it,too!

I once used my wife’s beloved iron to iron/glue on a some veneer, next time she used it she kept complaining: something wrong with this’s staining all my clothes!I ended up buying her a new one.

nah, when you pour 1 lb shellac from your wife’s measuring cup, YOU WILL BE LEGIT, and possible straight up dead not long after, BUT LEGIT!!!

When my wife and I married, she use to beat me up all the time. After 30 years she has slowed down a bit, but only because it makes the dogs nervous.

I’ve been usin’ a baby bottle for 2 cycle oil/gas mix for years. The bottle shows it too.
I’d probably get some strange looks if I was shoppin’ for a new one. Let’s see…....old farts shoppin’ for baby bottles????? Hmmmmmm.

I’ll be in deep yogurt when my wife finds out that I:

1. Cleaned the spar varnish out of a brush using one of our old aluminum camping cook pots
2. Used her turkey basting syringe to suck the brake fluid out of a master cylinder (I did buy a new one to replace it)
3. Used a small bowl out of the kitchen to scoop paint out of the gallon can (so I wouldn’t spill it all over pouring it into the paint cup) to paint my car
4. Ganked a tablespoon out of the kitchen to mix up small batches of paint for my air brush

The beat-all misuse I can think of is when my brother-in-law used my sister’s mixer to mix up some grout for the floor tiles.

Cleaning your drill press with your tooth brush should be next I think.

How about straining lumps out of paint, through a pair of pantyhose?
