I’ve found some pretty great deals on tools, but this one takes the cake!

Fella had a Delta 37-190 Jointer posted on Craigslist for . . . wait for it . . .

$25. That’s right. Twenty-five dollars.

I high tailed it over there as soon as I could. When I got there I asked him what he was asking for it, just inc ase he mistyped the ad. Nope, he wanted $25 for it.

He told me that he got it as a throw in from the guy he bought his table saw from. The only condition was that if he ever sold it he had to sell it for the same $25 he bought it for.

I made no such promise. I paid him the $25 and loaded in the back of my car.

I spent a little time cleaning it up and removing rust.

I sold it on CL on saturday for $250. Dang!

Also, the jointer came with a nice mobile base, which I kept and installed on my other jointer. Bonus!

Brian is right . . . YOU SUCK!!

I have had that jointer for years and it has served me well. And I had to pay CONSIDERABLY MORE THAN $25 for it when I bought it new.

So, you lucky dog, if I have not already told you . . . YOU SUCK!
